We see Sindh in future, a province with fully developed civil society, a society which is culturally sophisticated, intellectually matured, tolerant in behavior, enlightened and progressive in out look, a society with improved social indicators, full literacy, highly qualified human resource, full employment ,low poverty and having a reasonable social security system to cater for the needs of deprived section of population.

Ebad seeks provision for quality education
Karachi: Governor of Sindh, Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan has urged academicians of the country to contribute towards provision of quality education in the country.
Inaugurating the Dow International Medical College, at the Ojha campus of Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), he said a strong criterian and standard of education is prerequisite for national development.
Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan expressed his satisfaction for inauguration of the building of which he had laid the foundation stone.
"I am sure that equal attention is being paid towards quality infrastructure and quality of education as well as skills imparted to the medical students," he commented.
Sindh Governor appreciated that DUHS had in a short span of time made many innovations with Dow International Medical College (DIMC) as one of the most exquisite and significant addition to the spectrum of Dow University Of Health Sciences components.
Appreciating the faculty and facilities at DIMC, he said that the education standard of it would be equally good.
Health Minister for Sindh, Dr. Saghir Ahmed on the occasion said, Dow International Medical College has primarily been developed to facilitate the children of Pakistani expatriate.
He said that availability of the most modern equipment in various labs of Dow International Medical College proved that Dow International Medical College is the institution of international standard.
Vice Chancellor of Dow University Of Health Sciences, Dr. Masood Hameed Khan said that the college was established due to frequent requests of the overseas Pakistanis.
It was since the establishement of DUHS that we were being contacted and inquired about a medical college of international standards but with low expenses as compared to the medical education in the foreign countries, he elaborated.
Prof. Masood Hameed claimed that DIMC was developed to facilitate the expatriate Pakistani children, without compromising the standards of advanced medical education.
The Dean of Dow International Medical College, Dr. Zeenat Ayoob said that highly educated faculty is being hired in DIMC so as to keep its educational standard at par with the any other reputable educational instituion.
