We see Sindh in future, a province with fully developed civil society, a society which is culturally sophisticated, intellectually matured, tolerant in behavior, enlightened and progressive in out look, a society with improved social indicators, full literacy, highly qualified human resource, full employment ,low poverty and having a reasonable social security system to cater for the needs of deprived section of population.

Governor takes notice of deteriorating power supply situation
KARACHI, May 19: The KESC Management has sought one week time from the Governor after he took notice of power crisis and complaints against KESC.
Showing indignation over the situation, the Governor had called the KESC authorities to get a clear situation and KESC authorities assured to work to improve the power supply situation within one week.
The Governor said that the company should fulfil its commitments it had made while taking over the corporation.
He expressed concern over unannounced load-shedding and particularly the affects caused on congested areas and business and trade activities.
The Governor directed that steps be taken for bringing improvement in situation within one week and a report thereof be presented to him.
He made it clear to KESC responsibles that there should be emergency measures in an emergency situaton to provide relief.
